Paul McCartney Wants To Collab With The Killers?

    2009-01-05 12:45:19

K, so if you watched today's Music News you'd be knowledgeable about the following facts: 1)Prince has got 3 records in the works. 2)Bangly bracelets made of guitar strings are awesome. 3)Paul McCartney wants to collaborate with The Killers... Please note that right now this is just a rumor. Here's what Spin.com reported:

"According to UK newspaper The Sun [via Gigwise.com], the former Beatle reportedly approached Brandon Flowers sporting (wait for it) ... an Alice Cooper mask. "He was wearing the mask and dancing around. Then he took off the mask and introduced himself," Flowers said."

That sounds freakin' weird and out of character for Paul... we go way back and I know him super well. *wink* No, but seriously. I understand him wanting to do something with The Killers, but the way the sitch is described is effin bizarre to the maxtastic.

6 Musicians Who Predicted Their Own Death

    2008-12-31 09:58:07

Jimi Hendrix, John Lennon, Hank Williams, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tupac, Jeff Buckley...

All of these legends had eerie lyrics that foreshadowed their death.

"Many things he would try, For he knew soon he'd die." "Now Jimi's gone, he's not alone. His memory still lives on." "Five years, this he said. He's not gone, he's just dead."

These are Hendrix's words...he wrote the song five years before he died...creepy.

Check out the rest of their stories with the link provided. I hate to use the word interesting, but the tidbits about the rock legends are just that.
